A dreadlock-wigged Massachusetts man led police on a foot chase over the Spaulding Turnpike before being arrested on charges of stealing a $7,100 diamond engagement ring Monday.

Thid type of crime has been happening alot lately. I have to wonder why these type of stores dont have a protocal for having some sort of security whether it be a security camera or security gaurd posted close by to the counter . Or maybe have another person present when making the sale or showing the item to the buyer .
