AP: Bode Miller to skip race while ankle heals

The Franconia, N.H., native will skip the upcoming downhill in Bormio and head back to the United States to let his sprained ankle heal and concentrate on his fitness.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats scored three runs over the final two innings and held on to win, 8-7, over Harrisburg in front of 4,573 fans at Merchantsauto.com Stadium last night.


The Devils left Lowell for Albany at the conclusion of last season, leaving a hockey void that the Monarchs hope to fill in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
