Boynton's Taproom taps into owner's talents
Once upon a time, Manchester was going to be the site of a unique and ground-breaking educational institution where the curriculum -- not unlike my own education, coincidentally -- was to be focused entirely on beer. It was called the Labatt USA Beer Academy, and back in March 2000, a gentleman named Ernie Iamundo was the designated headmaster.

Great another beer joint in manchvegas. This city needs a Movie theatre for us non boozers. Hey Clayton why dont you write about something positive for a change. All I read about is DWI fatalities in the news and here you are praising this guy for opening up a beer hall. What a joke.

I wish Josh and Boynton's the best of luck! I think this will be a nice option for people looking for entertainment in Manchester!
As far as Jaime says, about the other restaurants, this is a completely different concept than the restaurants you mentioned. Why should anybody be "nervewracked" as you put it?
I think Josh got it right when he said it isn't about competition. Simply, the more quality establishments there are in Manchester, the more people are going to come in to our city to enjoy them. Everybody wins. . .including the taxpayers!
Best of luck Boynton's! We'll see you there soon!

Finally a little more entertainment than a restaraunt! Thats great.
....and Charles you can get beer at Chucke Cheese.......It's a personal responsibility and choice to not become impaired while out, not the supplier....

Joseph- and what do you call the folks who are in a day program for disabled adults?
The correct verbiage is Clients.
Good luck Josh on your new entertainment venue. Can't wait to come on down and see an act.
Just what Manchester needs!

I recently received an advertisement for the opening of the Tap Room and what I thought was most uniqu was that they hire taxi drivers for you to being you home if needed, and they pay for it! How nice! I am ready for this establishment to open. It's about time that executives in the State of NH finally have a nice place to visit. So many restaurants in Manchester have tried so hard to bring the community a similar venue but have failed. I just want to know how the owners of upscale restaurants such as Sparks, Fire Fly, Ignite, and Mint are feeling....must be very nervewracking to their owners. It's about time Manchester gets up to date!

I am fairly certain Josh graduated in 1990. I graduated with him. A.

Kenneth- Who even calls them clients anymore?! Looks like someone is still living under a rock!
- Joseph Waters, Manchester, NH
It would be nice if Josh employs some of his clients from his day program at this new establishment.
- Kenneth Brewster, Manchester NH
Way to go Josh, but do you really think Manchester needs another drinking / entertainment establishment? There's already too many impaired drivers leaving the bars / taprooms late at night.
Good Luck!
