Why is it that supporters of Democrat presidential candidates essentially end up joining cults? Listen to these two state Senators above and it's clear that they fell for Edwards hook, line and sinker -- yet to people with a modicum of common sense, Edwards always screamed "fraud." Look at the Obama cult or the Hillary cult -- you simply didn't see that sort of limitless adoration among Republicans for Dole or Bush or now for McCain. I've yet to see a flawless candidate from either party; the choice to support any of them should be based on a sober weighing of pros and cons, not just jumping on the bus along with other infatuated cheerleaders. This could be Obama's Achilles' heel; a cult of personality probably isn't going to be enough to get him into the White House.
