Seriously Kurt.......get a life! Have you forgotten so quickly what it was like a year ago? Do you know how many of these guys worked 14 hours a day for a few weeks straight, many of them missing Christmas holiday events with their own families in an attempt to get power back to other families? These guys gave.......selflessly and worked in an environment that was cold, dark and dangerous......for us. While the spirit of Christmas was truly alive for so many in the way of giving and sharing at this time......is clear that SCROOGE lives on.......in Hancock.........and his name is Kurt. I hope you get coal in your stocking and that a tree limb falls across your power line on Christmas eve.

I was the only one in my complex that was charged twice for the same amount, and the same bill. I was on the phone with PSNH, and they just would not admit to billing me twice. I only just paid the last of the extra debt this month. If they pull that stunt again this year, it will take me 2 years to pay for the scam bills.
- Kathy, Manchester

How dare they? PSNH deserves NO praise for how they handled the storm. They waited too long to get the help we begged them to get and they did not prioritize well. We paid the linemen richly to do their work- overtime and double overtime. Thanks for the rate hikes, Guys. Save kudos for the real heroes- everybody who went days and weeks without power. The UL falways writes about FairPoint, but PSNH is the real scandal!

If you weren't in the middle of it, it's hard to appreciate how much it meant to see that convoy of trucks. People were quick to criticize PSNH for not providing definate dates for project completion and repairs - if you'd seen it, you'd understand there was not any way they could. A middle school is hardly a high priced venue for a party....it's just too bad they couldn't include every person from Texas to Quebec that showed up to help.
- Mary, New Ipswich

Kurt,

Come on how much do you think a party like this costs compared to the grand scheme of things?

It's nice to recognize extrordinary achievements. This is what good companies do.

PSNH could not have the party to save you fractions of a penny, not have any employee morale, and next time you pick up the phone to report a power loss they could say "Too bad Kurt, we'll fixt your power when we feel like it." That's the company you want to do business with?
- Craig, Manchester, NH

Wow PSNH does not have enough money to pay for the damage the ice storm did. At least not without raising rates (which means we will be the ones paying) yet they have enough money to throw a party?

Come on! Normally in situations like this I would not do business with a company that acts so irresposibly, but wait I have no choice here.

It must be nice to take other peoples money, blow it on a party and then ask the PUC for a rate increase because they can't be profitable without it. Gary Long you would fit right in on Wall Street.
