Mr. Mentos has not been truthful by his own admission. His every action up to this point has been to lie and cover up evidence to avoid responsibility for his actions. Mr. Mentos has shown no remorse for his actions but has instead made threats against the family members of his victim. These are not the actions of a remorseful person and I hope the judge takes that into consideration when considering and handing his sentence.

I think part of this guy's punishment should include speeches at NH schools about the consequences of guns. If the youth hears about accidents of this measure maybe it will make them think twice about carrying a loaded gun around to show off in front of their friends. Truth is people get shot, badly hurt, & killed. My heart goes out to this young woman's family. God Bless

Congratulations to law enforcement personnel and to the prosecution team for a job well done. It's great to see justice done. I hope that this conviction is a substantial step in the healing process for Ms. Budzyna's family. Although they will never fully recover from losing their daughter, may they take solace in the fact that justice has been served.
