Hey Jeff,
Plymouth is more dedicated and prepared than anyone else? Anyone else? Have you seen Salem and BG yet? I totally respect what they have done but in the context of where it was done. You are the best of your group, no doubt but lets just leave it at that.
- John D, Nashua
Look at Bobby getting so defensive. You are so caught up in the whole Plymouth Mystique. Everyone praises every single action that occurs. I told you, Kudos to the players. But as to you, you have no idea what was said.
- Jake, Plymouth
Jake are you kidding me. Laconia teammates talking about Lenahan during the game. I'm sure it was complimentary. Maybe they should have been talking about how tp stop McAullife and Hay. If the officials told the Laconia kids to "shut up" they probably won't be earning any sportsmanship awards. Fact is they trashed talk from play one looking for excuses as to why they were about to get their butts kicked.
- Bobby, Plymouth
if im not mistaken, plymouth wanted to move up several years ago into DII, howefver the NHIAA would not let them. and even when they were in DIII they were the smallest school in the division....dont hate the school, team, kids or the coaches they only play what the NHIAA dictates for them....just because they are more dedicated and prepared than anyone else doesnt mean you can take away from ALL the championships....besides the first three of the five were in DIII....congratdulations to chuck and the boys.....ps if you ever get a chance take a look at the trophy cases inside the school, its not just the football team thats sucessful.....
- jeff, campton
Look guys, get over the fact that Coach Kozens from Laconia did not shake hands with the officials or coaches. He went up to Plymouth the next day in a meeting anyway. It is not like they would not see eachother the next day. Get over it. The officials were terrible. When you have officials that tell kids to shut up, that is inexcusable. The Umpire Ernie something threw an unsportsmanlike because a laconia player was talking to his teammates about Lenahan. Get over it guys. Lenahan did the same thing a few years ago against Souhegan. Really people, not a big deal. If Lenahan did it everyone would not say anything. Just because everyone views him as the football God. It is great being a coach, and being high up in the NHIAA isn't it chuck. Good work to the players, but get over the handshake.
- Jake, Plymouth
Absolutely agree about the Laconia HC showing no class by not shaking hands with the opposing coach after the game. HOWEVER... Lenahan pulled the same stunt a few years back when Souhegan beat him in the playoffs, FWIW. Says a lot about the (lack of) character of both men.
- Paul, Milford
I think that the actions from coach Kozens after the game were in excusable not only did he not shake hands with the Plymouth players or coaches they didn't even thank the officials which is customary after the game. Im looking forward to seeing what the NHIAA has to say about this. Im expecting at least a one game suspension. As for plymouth moving up a division they are one of the smaller schools in DIV give them a break. Just because it says Plymouth on the uniform doesn't mean there extra talented they just are better coached and disciplined. Not plymouth's fault
- Gary, Milford
Hey dimbo, 55 straight wins is not a rivalry. Why can't they have a rivalry with a larger school?
It does not matter what the size of the school is; it's about the competition. A small school can compete with a larger school if their athletes are capable. Judging by just the size of the school is being overly simplistic. Going undefeated for 5 straight years proves that they are capable.
Staying in the same division did a disservice to these kids AND to their opponents. It's time to stop hiding from other schools and better opponents. What are they afraid of?
- Bill, Manchester
If people would look at who is in division 3 and see that other than Souhegan and maybe Portsmouth, that division is weaker than division 4. Plymouth is a dedicated well coached program. If other programs put in the time and energy they could be as successful. Plymouth is low in the enrollement even in division 4. Forget about numbers 3 or 4 and admit this is a well oiled machine. Give credit where it is due. Pride and Tradition!!!!!!!!!!
- Bob, Plymouth
I am so tired of people that can't see that the Plymouth program knows how to build a "team" that can play together and win together. While teaching the kids sportsmanship. Instead they just focus on the fact that a small school just keeps winning against schools that have the same number of kids and the same resourses. Can some of you just grow up and say "good job kids, job well done".
On another note, I hope the NHIAA mans up and takes some action against the Laconia coach for his unsportsmanly actions after the game. Give me a break shake hands, face the other team, or get out.
There is a lot of growing up that needs to be done.
- Joe, Plymouth
@ Bill from Manchester - are you implying that Plymouth should pick on kids (schools) their own size??
Because they already are! Want them to move up so they can play schools twice as large, and have no rivalry with??
also, I do not think the "adults" up there make the call as to what division the kids play in. You can take that up with Lenahan.
- jimbo, Denver, CO
congrats plymouth- guys played good and deserved to win.
- bill, laconia
It's way past time for Plymouth to man up and move to a higher division. Where are the adults up there?
- Bill, Manchester
Plymouth only has a school of 750 students. I believe some of the 5 championships have come in the division III spot. I would actually like to see a game against a good team in a higher division but lets face it against Milford in Div III Plymouth dominates!!!
- DS, Plymouth
Put Plymouth in a higher division!
- Ted, Manchester
Does anyone really think the streak is a big deal? I mean they moved down to D IV! They belong in D II. Maybe when they move up to a real division, the streak will have more meaning. In the meantime, it's a joke.
- Al, Hampton
Congrats to Plymouth and Coach Lenahan on another title and an outstanding program. But really, moving up to a more competitive division is long overdue. Your players will get more out of it, too.

Plymouth Bobcats Wins.
Pllymouth as a good team.a g great football program and Lenahan. They show Laconia why tjere the Champs. Laconia show in bodies only and no spirit sorry to say they deserved to lose. But there alway need year.
Nomatter what Lenahan does the Bobcats will alway be perpared for the next game in 2010. I wish the Bobcats many more win in the future. But right now enjoy being the Champs.
- mo, plymouth
Well Jim you didn't get your wish for Laconia to break the streak. No doubt now which team prepares for a championship. In fact the Laconia coach even forgot how to prepare for the customary handshake after the game as he wouldn't offer his hand. Now we now where the unsportsman like penalties are coming from.
- Bobby, Plymouth
We the employer of Superior Car Wash in Lincoln,Nh. Predicted a win. But not a score of 38 -0. Yes, Plymouth was well prepare for the game. Lenahan did a great job coaching the team. But what happen Laconia is not a mystery like at the first game this year. Plymouth won without passing and Laconia only score came late with the help of pentry on Plymouth. Laconia just didnot play like a team who have fire in there heart to win.BUT THE CHAMPION GAME. It was all Plymouth. Laconia show up in name only.Laconia was out played and out coach. Plymouth Win and Laconia canonly say wait til next year.
- mo, plymouth
Wow, Laconia came to both these games this year against Plymouth with no fire, all I remember last year was Laconia hitting Plymouth into the ground and at least making it a game.
- Jim, Rumney
