When I heard Jim Bender's remarks on the HBS panel, I was impressed with his clear grasp of the economic challenges facing this country, and his straightforward perspective in terms of how to deal with them. We need more individuals like Jim in the Senate, with his strong sense of integrity, his practical intelligence, and his warm and compassionate personality.

I heard Jim speak at HBS the principles he will apply to the operation of government while he is office. He has run a business and met a payroll. His pragmatic and non-partisan approach to our problems is refreshing. With people like Jim in office all citizens would feel confident that government is working for them and not the other way around. We desparately need Jim's business skills in the Senate.

I've known Jim for over thirty years. He has a positive can-do attitude and is not affraid of big challenges. It would be nice to see someone other than another career politician hack get the NH senate seat.
If he wins would you mind sharing him with Massachusetts? We have a lot of unrepresented centrists and conservatives down here.
- Bob Nerz, North Attleboro, MA
I've know Jim for thirty years. NH will benefit from Jim's long experience in business and his ability to take on and address challenging problems.
- Nat Welch, Concord (Massachusetts)
Jim Bender and I sat next to each other every day through our first year of Harvard Business School. He and his family have remained good and valuable friends. I cannot say enough about his values, integrity and caring for others. His record of success in business speaks for itself. We desperately need people of Jim's caliber to serve us (I mean the whole country as well as New Hampshire) in Washington. I am awed by his and his family's willingness to submit themselves to the meat grinder of politics with no other reason than deep-seated convictions driving them to serve us.

I was the Logicraft VP Sales, working directly for Jim Bender for almost 10 years through the 80s and early 90s. Jim was the quintessential leader who built the best team that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Jim knows how to focus on and drive towards the goal while having fun along the way. I did not attend the HBS event, but if Jim takes his all to Washington, he will be New Hampshire's best foot forward!

Regarding Senate candidate Jim Bender, I also attended the HBSsession he spoke at over the weekend, and I was very impressed with his grasp of the issues. I've known him now for over 30 years. He's a sharp, very level headed guy that has thought through the issues and had some great responses that drew much applause. I which he was running for office in Tennessee - he would have my vote!
- Dave Berryman, Nashville, TN
I also attended the Harvard B School reunion last week and heard Jim Bender speak. Outstanding candidate! In today's uncivil environment it is remarkable that people with Jim's backgrond are willing to run for office. As important as many other issues are the future of the US economy will be the central issue in the fall of 2010. Jim's successful record in business and his grasp of real world economics would make him a powerful GOP candidate in the general election.

RE: Jim Bender. I attended the HBS reunion last weekend and attended the panel discussion at which Jim spoke. I liked his views on spending and fiscal responsibility. We need clear thinking like his in Washington. Jim is a solid citizen who would add a lot of business experience to the senate.

Jim Bender was truly outstanding at the Harvard Business School political forum last Saturday. Jim clearly understands that federal spending is totally out of control. I know that if he is elected the the U. S. Senate he will do something about it. I am a business owner and I am really fearful about the future of the United States and my children based upon the current course of our country. Jim can help get the country redirected to a path of prosperity once again.

Why has my comment been taken down, just to be replaced by 2 pro-Bender comments? No offense to him, but I wrote in last night about a candidate I support, and now it's gone. And, while we're at it, does the UL support Hodes now? If not, why wouldn't the headline say something like, "Hodes falls short of Ayotte" or "Hodes numbers less than last quarter"? Talk about bias!
Go Kelly Go!!

Jim Bender has a practical, no-nonsense grasp of the economic issues facing us as a nation, and a track record of success in the engine of our prosperity - American business. The Senate needs more people with Jim's perspective on the challenges and opportunities that face us. I've known Jim since business school, and he is smart, personable, compassionate, straight-talking, and great at working with other people to get important things done.

I'd like to know the source of Hodes' money. Good to see Obama's numbers in this state coming down. At this time next year, Obama will be well below in NH and will be a millstone around Hodes' neck, as Obama already is to the politicians in swing states such as Virginia.
- Tom, Campton
I have known Jim Bender since high school and am thrilled to hear that someone of his proven abilities and character is willing to serve our country and New Hampshire at this critical time.
In addition to his track record of success in the private sector; he is a good family man, a solid citizen, and just plain good people. I am looking forward to helping him get elected.

John,
I've known Jim Bender for over 10 years, as he was an investor in my venture-funded company called Ellacoya Networks. His business savvy and instincts, along with his integrity and quick decision making, makes him an ideal choice for the US Senate at this critical time in our nation's history.
Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss in more detail.

As to Jim Bender, I attended the HBS reunion last weekend and was very impressed with Jim's words at Saturday's panel discussion. I've known Jim for over 30 years. He's rock solid, a straight shooter, and a great person. Many former classmates share my feelings and have joined me to work for Jim's campaign.
