For those putting down Kat from Raymond... she was comparing the two cases with Savoy and Todd's accomplice.

People are so quick to judge without actually reading.

I strongly believe Todd should appeal and find a new attorney. There are too many holes in this case... just to be on the safe side

Why do you people love to keep these people alive. I get tired of supporting my family and this guy too. Pass him on to the next life and lets get on with life.
- Raymond Watson, Raymond

Bottom line people this is drug damage at its worst, whether your buying it or selling it or both. The damage to all children involved is enormous. Drugs were at the forefront of this issue. Hopefully those involved can look at the hard facts of addiction and how it tears families apart. This is a large lesson for me and I know both sides of the families. One could say cudos to MPD but I remember when the issues leading into the weeks before the murders were not addressed properly by the MPD hopefully all the talk of the PD taking a more active stand in policing neighborhoods actually goes into affect. I wish all parties involved, hopefully, some peace at last.

ML- There were more witnesses that were never called. The defence lawyers never gave a defence. There were several witnesses and alot of evidence that did not come into this trial that might have exorinated this person. A child lied to the grand jury provoked my a parent. This was brought out on the stand. Where is the witness tampering charge. If you go back in time the witness that saw thisd person was 75% sure. Now after seening his picture probably 100s of time is now 100% sure!!!!! This man was a RAILROADED. ~You will probably be seeing this in the news again in the future~

Numerous people here do not understand the factors. Although I understand that a person who commits a crime should pay the time...I still believe that multiple factors should still be presented to the jury. The fact that another individual helped him get away and not contact the police immediately. The fact that no blood was found on the clothing or in the vehicle. No evidence on the bat itself. As well, even though the police could place him in Manchester the MPD must place him at the scene of the crime. Through DNA or some other sort...Not hear say.

The article says there was another man with Peters during the beatings. Who is he & wasn't he charged with anything? If he was there & didn't attempt to stop anything, he should have been charged.
- Dave, Manchester

Greg, no putdowns here, but the point is that it is an automatic life sentence without the possibilty of parole. It is a guarantee, so it is, of course, expected.
- Kevin, Merrimack

Nice job MPD
- Bill, Andover

Mike Reynolds: From what I remember reading, the only witness was the daughter who saw him. Will you be a "good" friend and provide him an alibi?
- M. L., Manchester

TW, if only you knew the irony of your statement.
- Len, Manchester

How bout this guy is just straight up trash and deserves the life/death sentence he will be getting shortly. The reason the lawyer did not call a witness is probably because the evidence was overwhelming. Or hoping for an appeal.
- KO, Nashua

It sounds like the case was fair and justice is served! We need to get these losers off the streets and clean the city up.
- TW, Manchester

Great job done. Put this guy away for the rest of his life. He did the crime so he will pay the time.
- Rock Free, Manchester NH

There was a gross injustice in this trial. The prosicution rested their case abd the defence lawyer stoodup and without calling a single witness rested their case. Their was alot of evidence the defence had that would have shed alot of doubt on the prosicutions case.
- Mike Reynolds, Manchester, NH

How about a "nice job MPD" ???

I'm not a genius, but I also don't go looking for something negative to say about every article in the UL. This guy was just convicted of first degree murder. Where is the negative in that? My EXPECTATION is that he will be convicted of life without parole. I understand he may get life, but I highly doubt he will ever be free again even if that is the case. thanks for the compliment though Jeff!
- Greg, Manchester

Greg, you must be a genius because in NH first degree murder is automatic life in prison without the possibility of parole.
- Jeff, Manchester

Yo Kat I think your posting to the wrong article.
- bob, manchester

What does Autumn Savoy have to do with this case?

I would say this is good news, a violent criminal was convicted of first degree murder. I expect a life sentence without parole to follow.
- Greg, Manchester

I bet Autumn Savoy is wondering like the rest of us, who the accessory to this double murder is and what their penalty for participation will be.
How coincidental is it that after murdering sleeping people, the evidence gets thrown in a pond?
