NSR, Seems to me you're the one crying. Every comment was positive until you came along.

I understand you're very bitter about life in general. Just be miserable by yourself.

Misery loves company like they say!

Deploy a 2nd time?

Many soldiers have deployed FOUR times. FIVE times. More than the length of time of World War II.

You couldn't ask for more poorly planned wars than these two we're fighting now.

That Republicans - after happily spending a trillion dollars to fight these wars - would now have the gall to complain about health care or the stimulus, is truly the height of hypocritical disgrace.

You do understand that most of our success in Iraq came from our decision to PAY our former insurgent enemies to simply not fight us anymore, right? That we peel off $100 bills and hand them to our former enemies.

If you are a Republican and you supported this war - and you now complain about providing health care for all Americans, then you are not a patriot.

But we'll send these guys, who are proud to go, and who'll do a good job, because they actually man up and do something for their country. And I'm sure a lot of them vote Republican, which is fine, because they're putting their lives where their mouths are.

The rest of you, though? The rest of you complaining, anti-American crybabies?

You don't deserve to have soldiers fighting your battles. On this Thanksgiving, you don't deserve a single thing you have - and that you didn't truly earn.

Tommy in Manchester you are so WRONG. I am presently in Afghanistan and am a reservist from NH on my 3rd Tour. 2 in Iraq and now here. If we leave now we would only be back later. How about we finish the job. Simple explanations like we are only here for big corporations is naive. I have met the men coming here from the VT Guard and they fully understand there task ahead.

May you have fair winds and following seas, and return safely and in one piece.

Best of luck to the best of the best America has to offer! These citizen soldiers are examples of our country has to offer and what makes us number one.
- Mike, Goffstown

I have two brothers that will be shipping out with them and am trusting God to be with them and protect them. I also am very proud that they are going to serve and have a new respect for them as they go. Hope you all keep them in your thoughts and prayers as I will!

All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers, and thank you for helping keep us safe.

I was w/them in Iraq. Its a good unit and will do well. God bless.

When the xxxx are we going to put a stop to this madness. Afghanistan? There should not be ONE American soldier in that country. This is a money pit, a waste of human life, just get out. The only reason the military is still there, is money. Big corporations are making a fortune on the place. What happened to change.. get out.

We wish the men & women of the NH & VT Gaurd the best of luck, personally & professionally. There seems to be a lack of leadership at the very top levels, (Congress & Whte House )where regular folks from the guard and reserves must deploy a 2nd time to do this nations laundry. Luckily, the military are true professionals. Good luck to all!
