Three hurt in Twin Mountain crash

Carroll – Three people were injured this morning when two vehicles collided on Route 115 just before 10 a.m., according to state police reports.
The road, which connects Routes 3 and 2, was closed for about an hour following the accident, during which time a helicopter was called in to transport one of the people injured.
The accident involved a Dodge van driven by Margaret Francoeur, 45, of Berlin, who was traveling south on the road when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a GMC pickup truck driven by Roger Marcouillier, 53, of Hillsborough.
Francoeur was transported to Littleton Regional Hospital with serious injuries. Marcouillier was airlifted to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with serious injuries.
A passenger in his car, Jessica Vitko, 21, of Berlin, was transported to Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation and no cause has been determined.
Twin Mountain fire and ambulance crews responded, along with the Bethlehem fire department and ambulance, Whitefield ambulance and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
